Suffix preps for new single release ‘Cholinga’

Gospel Hip Hop artist Suffix is preparing to share his latest single ‘Cholinga’.

The song is expected to come out on the 17th of October.

Bob Phondo, Manager for Suffix at Letswai has since confirmed.

Phondo acknowledged the song is coming off the upcoming untitled album.

“But we are refraining to talk about the album till it’s fully done” said Phondo when pressed on the issue.

The beat for ‘Cholinga’ was initially made by Labrats (Dahlie Beats, Kay Phanga and Keim) but they got Blage to remake it.

“So we can say it’s a group of people that produced it” Phondo adds.

Suffix started working on the song 3 to 4 months ago.

He recorded the demo with Stich Frey at the time.

He then recorded it again with Dj Sley, who also mixed and mastered.

An exclusive listen revealed Suffix worked with Calvary Kids (about 6 of them), Mai Chimwemwe Mizaya, Grace Matonga and Florence Kamanga on additional vocals as well.

A review of the song is going to be up on our site soon.
