Bullets, Silver Strikers end pre season campaigns in triumph


The Football season starts on April 15th and teams have been preparing extensively with the last pre-season games played.

The friendly football matches saw Big Bullets impressive win in Mulanje over Azam Tigers.

The match dominated by Bullets club which has seen a change in ownership was won 2 goals to nil.

Despite releasing a massive number of players, the club has showed their huge title contenders.

The force of Henry Kabichi and Bright Munthali brought Azam to its knees as preparations came to a close. A boost for the teams morale.

In other games, Silver Strikers thrashed Salima Select a whopping 3 goals to nothing.

The Lilongwe giants have also finished their campaign in high spirits. Zikani Kasambala, Binwel Katinji, Cullen Nkhulambe finding the back of the net.

TNM Super League holders Be Forward Wanderers could not get a goal against Civil Sporting Club ending the game nil nil.

In the other result, Mponela Select were no match to Blue Eagles but put up a galant fight.

The match ended Mponela Select 1-2 Blue Eagles.

There had been concerns of fatigue football pundits as clumsy went about the country in vigorous preparations and thank you trips.

However ahead of the the league starting, clubs have expressed good physical and positive attitude in the camps.
